Our Mission: To Achieve Excellence for Our Schools, Our Students, Our Future

Ben Richards, Superintendent

Welcome to Valley View Local Schools. Whether you are a parent, student, community member, or a visitor, we are happy you are taking the time to learn about our district.

Valley View is nestled in the Twin Valley region southwest of Dayton, Ohio. The district is 61 square miles and is comprised of Germantown, Farmersville, German Township, and Jackson Township. Our student enrollment is 1,880 students in grades K-12, with our Primary School housing grades K-3, our Intermediate School with grades 4-6, grades 7-8 at our Junior High School, and our traditional Valley View High School with grades 9-12. We also offer a preschool program that is directly aligned to our district curriculum.

We offer a robust number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, as well as a variety of Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus courses. Our emphasis is placed on providing individualized attention to our students to help them maximize their potential.

We believe we are the “hidden gem” in the Twin Valley area. A tight-knit community with a small-town feel. A district that values our history but is focused on preparing our students for the future.
